Bellum is made entirely from Pinot Noir grown in the cool climate of Elgin, where long, slow ripening develops remarkable freshness, elegance and purity.
Produced by the acclaimed Iona winemaking team, the inaugural 2022 Bellum Pinot Noir Rosé spent 36 months on the lees, creating beautifully fine bubbles, delicate complexity and exceptional balance.
Only 3,100 bottles were produced in the first release - a reflection not of exclusivity, but of a commitment to doing things properly.

Every bottle of Bellum carries a story that began long before the first vineyard was planted.
The name Pax Aut Bellum - Latin for "Peace or War", comes from the Gunn family, whose roots stretch back more than a thousand years to the Scottish Highlands.
From those Viking ancestors emerged Clan Gunn, a family known for courage, resilience and loyalty. Their crest bears both a sword and a dove - a reminder that life is filled with moments of challenge and moments of peace.
